Whilst written over 30 years ago , this is a really thoughtful exploration of the theology of the Inklings. It is particularly useful on Barfield and Williams who are the more opaque of the Oxford circle. Add Humphrey Carpenter's biography of the Inklings and one has a good picture all round.
